Marketing Center & Promotions Tutorial
This guide explains how to use the Marketing Center to create discounts, run BOGO campaigns, and generate promo codes to attract customers.
1. Accessing the Marketing Center
- Log in to your Admin account.
- On the sidebar menu, click on Settings and then Marketing Center (or Discounts).
- You will see a dashboard displaying all your active and inactive promotional campaigns.
2. Creating a Promotional Campaign
- Click the + New Promotion button in the top right corner.
- Promotion Identity:
- Campaign Name: Enter a recognizable name (e.g., "Summer Sale 2026").
- Internal Description: (Optional) Add notes for your team about this campaign.
- Strategy Engine:
- Format: Choose whether the discount is a Percentage (e.g., 20%) or a Fixed Amount (e.g., Rp 50,000).
- Scope: Choose if the discount applies to the Entire Cart or specific Target Items.
- BOGO (Buy One Get One) Setup:
- If you set the scope to Target Items, you can configure Qty Mechanics.
- Enter the Buy Qty and Get Qty, and set the Bonus Percent (100% means the "Get" item is free).
- Enable Mix & Match if the customer can combine different products to trigger the deal.
3. Timeline & Logic Rules
- Scheduling: Set a Start Date and Expiry Date. Leave them blank if the promotion runs indefinitely.
- Stacking Rules:
- Enable Stackable if this discount can be combined with other active discounts.
- Disable it to make this promotion Exclusive.
- First-Time Only: Enable this if the promotion is strictly for new customers making their first purchase.
4. Promo Code Engine
Sometimes you don't want a discount to apply automatically to everyone. You can issue specific Promo Codes for a campaign.
- Create and save your promotion first.
- In the campaign list, find your promotion and click the Ticket icon (Promo Code Engine).
- A panel will open where you can generate new text codes (e.g., "WELCOME50" or "INSTAGRAMVIP").
- Customers can then enter this code at checkout to claim the discount.
